I was a nurse before I got disabled. We had so many nursing home patients that got yeast infections from family using cornstarch in the coochies thinking that would absorb any moisture but instead made it a perfect growth medium for fungus.
IT could easily be a food allergy if her eyes are running that much too. Maybe try a different kibble for a month..watch any table foods and list them..maybe eliminate one thing per week. You can't tell much just after a day or two.have to eliminate a table food item for atleast a week to see if it helped.
Best bet..get angel eyes..give it minimum 3 weeks of daily use..but few drops vinegar in water bowl..and keep face clean and very dry as possible until cause is found. Poodles have this problem anyway but if your baby is constantly running..its not just a rusty problem I think anyway.
Worth a shot Smile
I quit giving mine bread products even tho they loved them..because when I stopped that..the frequent running tears quit on Lucy.

Oh wow the corn starch is a no no? Shocked

She has not teethed yet (only 12 weeks) so I believe i can not use angel eyes yet... no?

She gets no table scraps, the only thing she gets is plain shredded grilled chicken breast.

I have also tried switching her food to Blue Buffalo Small breed puppy, has not improved yet.

Also, if it is something in her diet, how long would it take to see a difference on new food?

Another thing i want to bring out is she did not have the staining before we got her... and we fed her the same food the breeder did. Could it be the water??

I started mine on them at 6 months, didn't know there was an age thing?

oh and that bottle of it lasts a long time..you only give like half teaspoon per pup. I make sure Teddy gets his full half teaspoon by feeding him with the wet food and that amt on a special spoon for them.
The others want theirs that way since its a "special" way lol. Lucy and Gigi I am not as particular with since they don't have the watering..staining that Teddy is so prone to. I do have to keep Lucys face shaved tight cause if around her eyes gets any length she tears often.

Yes, it says to start after teething or it can turn the un ruptured teeth yellow.

So it helps with watering not just staining?

Poor Xiao's little face is always soaked. it can not feel pleasant to have your eyes watering that much =(
