I gotta tell you, of course Cali looked beautiful in every picture. However, I thought she was just stunning in your Avatar pic with the striped sweater with dark purple. And also the beads you chose for her were perfect! Today I was out shopping and bought Lulu a dark purple jacket in memory of Cali. Reminds me of the saying, "When I am old, I shall wear purple..." She was such a classy girl, loving and well loved, and her memory lives on... Thank you for sharing her with us. I hope you are having more nice memories of her than sadness but my heart is breaking for you, too...

I sit here with tears in my eyes for you and for Cali. We will miss Cali so much, she was our forum queen! I always loved seeing pictures of her, she was such a beautiful girl! I know you both brought so much to each other. Cali had a great mom and you had a great girl. Though gone, I know you will miss her deeply, but she will be in your heart forever.

You and Cali will reunite someday at Rainbow Bridge ♥

I just saw this now, I am sitting here crying, those of us who have been here for a while felt like we knew her. She is now young again and waiting for you at the bridge. I can only imagine how much you miss her, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so saddened by this news, I cant keep tears from falling.
I have just recently thought about Cali, wondering how she is.
I feel your pain and at the same time, we know that she's in a better place, free from pain and discomfort.
When I think of Cali, one particular picture always comes to my mind.
A picture you once posted of your bed, with two pillows on the edges and Cali used to sleep in the middle, to prevent her from falling off the bed.
Cali modeled for us, Cali made us laugh with her charming personality.
She was and always will be, The Forum Queen.
Sending hugs to you Mom and Prayer, that your heart will heal its wound.
You have done an outstanding job of devotion and longevity and in return, you received so many years of unconditional love.
Cali was your true best friend as so were you, hers..........

and here i am yet again late...I REally need to quit avoiding this section /sigh..yes I am a coward, I Don't want to think of ever losing one of my babies but that is so selfish of me but that is only thing I can think of as why i never look at this section.
I teared up when I read about her last few days. I could feel your agony come out of your words. 18yrs while a blessed life indeed for a dog..does not soothe your soul but time will just have to live each day trying to think of just the good days of Cali. Big hugs and will add you to my prayers for comfort with a whisper asking Him to give Cali a hug

Sasha: I totally understand your sentiment about losing one. I cannot even begin to contemplate it. Scary sad thought. It is one reason why I have 4 of the little buggers. I became so afraid of losing Omar and Lila at the same time that I expanded my brood. OMG I can't even think about it.
