Just to let everyone know. Skyie broke her front leg in a freak accident, She has had surgery and the prognosis is excellent. A search for Crissi will bring up pictures of her new baby.

Her operation was a complete sucess, THe x-rays look great, Shes home and happy and has been putting weight on it since day one.
Crissi's others are very sympathitic to her and treat her with kindness. (Who calls them dumb animals?)

Thanks all.

Aww, Simon, thank you for this sweet gesture!

Thank you to the ones that have sent prayers for my little Skye and for your lovely thoughts. She is a little fighter and she is doing very well. It has been 10 days since her operation and tomorrow she is finally having her stitches off. I can't wait to be able to see her running again.

Sorry for not being around anymore, life is very demanding and I find it hard to juggle everything.

Anyway here are some pics of her ordeal

The last pic was just taken yesterday. She has to wear the buster collar in case she chews her stitches. She has been very good about this until during last night while we were sleeping, she managed to irritate a bit of the leg on one stitch. I can't wait for this to be all over and have my happy little darling back. It's so sad to see her like this and not been able to let her enjoy herself and run. Few more days of crate restriction and then we can start with 5 minutes walk per day for the next 2 weeks.

Thank you for reading and for caring

I hope all your furbabies are well

Cris x

So glad she is doing so well. I hate to see them wearing the bite collars but it is certainly better than letting them get to the stitches. She will be back to 100% before you know it.
